What a pleasure to work with Signature Properties! I highly recommend them. Our project was a remodel of an outdoor space, turning a pergola/outdoor kitchen into a weather protected, yet still open, structure. We required that the exterior of the new structure match the exterior of the adjacent house. Dean Nunnelly was a wizard at transforming my conceptual ideas into a workable project, surprisingly, with very few notes or drawings. As the project progressed, given that it was a remodel, Dean turned potential “problems” into solutions. Signature Properties cost estimates were spot on! Dean’s subs were responsive, clean, and timely (excepting, of course weather delays). The finished product was outstanding. When the project was complete, I told Dean and Kathie that the final project was “far better than I had ever imagined!” And THAT is a vote of confidence.
I just wanted to reach out and let you know how happy we are with our project and what an absolute joy it was to work with Dean. We have done a lot of projects in this old house, and no one has come close to him. He was so honest, responsive, approachable, and fun - I have honestly missed him the last couple of weeks! I hope he knows how much we appreciate him.

I have never worked with a better team! Signature Properties remodeled my basement at the end of 2019. Dean and Kathie were so easy to reach and their team of contractors was fantastic to work with. I have been living in the remodel for a half a year and I love it every time I walk in the rooms. My husband and I were recommended to Dean at Signature Properties from our cabinet/maker/designer. We were hoping to redo our kitchen and den. As luck would have it, he was doing a total house remodel up the street. He told as to come up and check out the project. As Dean described the intricacies of working on a 1920's era house (our house was built in 1920), I knew that this was the contractor for us. He looked at our project and cabinet design/kitchen layout we desired and got his sub contractors in to get estimates. We had our very detailed and thorough bid from Dean within a week. Through out the project Dean updated us weekly on what was going to be happening that week. He then came over pretty much every day sometimes twice to check on progress and speak to the sub contractors. He would problem solve with his contractors and us so that every one was on the same page. Our kitchen and den came out better then I had imagined. The icing on the cake was that the project even came in under the estimate. It is really fabulous and I would love another big project to do just to work with Dean again.
Dean and Kathie were great to work with on our new kitchen addition and remodel. Dean was a great problem solver and was at the job site every day. They created our dream kitchen! They finished on time and on budget.

My husband and I hired Signature Properties for a top to bottom renovation of a 1938 midtown home. It was a huge decisions to trust Dean and Kathie to execute and deliver us our dream home. They exceeded all expectations and made a difficult and stressful process as enjoyable as possible. Dean has an eye for detail and is very skilled at problem solving any issues that arise on the site. Kathie does a great job sending detailed invoices along the way and keeping track of the budget. We always knew what costs were and where it was being spent, which can be difficult to keep track of on such a large project. You won’t find better people to do business with.

Over 20 years, we have learned to both TRUST and RESPECT Dean Nunnely for his experience and expertise in remodeling vintage Utica Square homes. Dean personally oversaw four total Home re-imaginations where we took 1920’s chopped up tiny rooms, blew out the ceilings to create open living areas with fabulous vaulted and beamed ceilings. Total re-wired/re-plumbed, etc. etc. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dean (plus he has great ideas if you don’t!
We had a filter break on the third floor in January and we were out of town and the water ran for 5 days, it is a historical home built in the 1922. We wanted it restored to its original conditions and we needed to done fast because we wanted it put up for sale due to moving. The did such a great job the house not only was perfect but looked so good it made me sick to sell it. The job was complicated due to the type of house and the insurance company involvement. I could not have been happier with Dean and Kathy and they made it where nothing was a problem.
We were so pleased when Signature Properties agreed to build our custom home. The quality of the house was excellent. Dean not only created our plans but offered improvement ideas from start to finish including ones that would save us money, even if it meant they would make less. They were very attentive to our questions and ideas and to the budget. We love our new home! We made the right decision choosing Signature Properties as our builder.
